The Reverend Thomas Duncan, here treated, married Mary Dalrymple. The request for proclamation was booked at Dryfesdale on 16 March 1845 and they were married at Kirkintilloch, probably at Woodhead, on 2 April 1845. They were married by the Reverend Mr. Foreman of Leven, Wigtonshire Free Press;;;
