About Rhoda Hatfield

Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel, 1847–1868

Evidence from the obituary of her daughter (Sarah Elizabeth Lyman), indicates Rhoda, her husband Alvin, and her daughter Sarah came to Utah in 1852. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company they traveled with. She also traveled with her daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Lyman. She and her husband were residents of Manti at the time of a rebaptism on 4 February 1855. 1850 Iowa Census was taken 3 October 1850.
