Settled in Fairfield, where he d. in 1665.
Married Ruth Turney, dau. of Benjamin, b. at Concord, 28 Jan. 1643/4, d. at Fairfield in 1666.
Inv. 21 June 1665, presented by Widow. Joseph Middlebrook and wife testified that Richard the day he died gave his Est. to Ruth his wife, excepting tools. Court decrees if Ruth be with child, the child to have its share; if no issue, then John son of John Bouton to have the tools.
Inv. of Ruth Bouton, 7 Nov. 1666. Matthey Marvin, Sr., Robert Turney, and John Bouton, relations to Ruth the dau. of Richard and Ruth Bouton, consent that the child be placed with Marvin until 18; if he dies, then with John Bouton, the child's uncle; and if he dies, then with Robert Turney; if the child dies, then the land to go to Benjamin Turney of Fairfield, and L7-14-6 to Thomas Morehouse of Fairfield, and the rest divided among the nearest relations."[1]
