Marriage 1: about 1686 to Mary Thurston (b. abt. 1664-?), daughter of Joseph Thurston and Ann (widow of Thos. Foster ).

Richard was living in Foster's Meadow, LI before 1658. He left a will recorded at Jamacia Deeds A-137 dated April 16, 1699 and proved May Nathaniel Denton and John Foster be overseers of the children.
