'CAPT. RICHARD3 DOUGLAS (William2, William1), born in New London, Conn.,July 19, 1682. He married, Dec. 7, 1704, Margaret Abell, of New London. In "1713, Capt. Richard Douglas bought of Samuel Spooner of Norwich, a house-lot on Bank street, which his father, Stephen Spooner, bought of John Packer, for S 80." "June 14, 1716, Richard Douglas raised his house,which was on the east side of the town street, next to David Gardiner's."(*)
