About Richard "Squire" Lee

Richard Lee born 1726 was not the son of Col John Lee of Essex County and wife Mary Ball. They had no children. In addition, John would have been only 2 years old at Richard's birth.

Richard may have married Sarah Bland Poythress, daughter of Peter Poythress and Elizabeth Bland, but this is not proven. Sarah was nearly fifty years younger that Richard.
