General Notes:
Richard was on the Kentucky tax list in 1814, 1815, 1819, 1821, and 1822. Wife Lyda was listed in 1823.
From Marlow(e) Twigs by Lorraine Updike Jackson: Ann Berry, CC, MD will dated 1/2/1798, probated 2/1798 Book L 11, p.432, mentions daughters Verlinda Acton and Lyda Marlow; grand sons William and John. John to be executor and his son Hansen mentioned.
Richard listed on 1778 CC, MD census at Port Tobacco, 1783 personal property tax list. 1800 census 1 male under 10, 1 16-26, 1 over 45; 1 female under 10, 2 10-16, 1 over 45, and one slave. This census does not prove much, as a son, daughter-in-law and their children could be in his household.
Accession #7321 CC, MD (B) shows Richard rented slave Dory from James Middleton's estate 1802.03.04. (See Dory Marlow b. 1784 MD p.130) Book K 4 p 262 CC,, MD 11/10/1790 Richard purchased 15.5 acres for 1500# of crop tobacco from John Acton, land part of Aberdeen, Verlinda Acton, wife of John Acton also sighed. Book 1 B 5, p 437 7/28/1803 Richard purchased from John and Verlinda Acton 25 acres called Acton's Addition on CabinBranch. Land Book 10, p 457 10/13/1813 Richard sells 15 acres to John Edward Ford- this was land deeded to Wm. Marlow p. 8 by Henry Acton 11/1715. Did not locate other deeds, so do not know about 25 acres he owned. John Edward Ford's will Book HB 13, p 465 CC,Md 1/1816 Court Ford listed sisters, Eliz. Ford, Charity Joy Young, Mary Ann Gettings, & son John Gettings, brothers: Wm P. Ford, Joseph Ford & 2 sons Jphn and William Land was called Hull, Sentry and Friends Hazard. Deed JHC 1 p 398 dated 10/15/1860 heirs of John Edward Ford sold land & following signed deed: Charity Ann Rebecca Font, Elizabeth C.E. Thrasher, Henrietta Graham, Mary Gertrude Marlow (all daughters of Hanson Marlow #124412) Ellen C. Marshall, and Henry Clinton Fraizer. Ftrom Ford's original land they reserved 1 acre of family burial ground and 8 acres on road from Troy to Port Tobacco. Wm. Hardy purchased this land. (#1 has not checked to see if burial ground has any headstones.)

If other children, they are not know. Richard was in Ohio County, Kentucky by 1814. He and son John purchased land on Adams Fork Creek from John and Margaret McCreery. Richard 246 acres and John 179 acres. Richard appeared on 1814 tax records of Ohio County, Kentucky. #13 unable to date to find records as to disposition of Richard's land, nor a will-which might name other children. #13 reported tax records as: Alfred 1830, John S. 1830, Richard 1820 and Lyda 1823 all in Ohio County, Kentucky
