The Will of Richard Pearman, Witnessed 25 December 1674, Probate 12 February 1675/6 (Worcs RO) (NW/RP/2) In the name of God, Amen, the 25th day of December in the twenty sixth year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord King Charles the Second in the year of our lord God 1674. I, Richard Pearman of Clent in the County of Stafford, yeoman, being sick and weak in body but of sound and good memory pray to be given to God for the '85'85'85..'85'85.. knowing the '85'85'85'85 Of this life and being desirous to settle things in order do make this last will and testament in manner and form following that is '85'85'85'85'85'85'85'85'85.. my soul to Almighty God my Creator '85'85'85'85'85'85'85'85'85 to be '85'85'85'85'85 by the '85'85'85 death and mercy of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ and my body to the Earth from where it was taken to be buried in devout and Christian manner and as '85'85'85'85.'85'85'85'85'85. worldly Estate as the lord hath lent me my '85'85'85'85'85'85'85'85. the same shall be of me '85'85'85'85.. and bestowed as hereafter by this will is Executed and first I revoke, renounce and make void all wills by me formerly made and declare this only to be my last will and testament. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Pearman the lease of the farm (barn?) at Hollow Cross, and one fine (?) bed standing in the parlour of Hollow Cross, with all furniture thereto belonging, with three pairs of sheets with the tableboard and '85'85'85'85'85.. standing in the Hall at Hollow Cross House and half a dozen of table napkins being flaxen. Item. I give to my daughter Elizabeth ten pounds worth of goods out of my dwelling house in '85'85'85'85'85'85'85'85. Item. I give to my daughter Anne Greene and to her husband and their children twenty shillings. Item.
