Biography

Elizabeth was born 1565. She and Richard Steele were married on 10 January 1585 when she was 20 years old and Richard was 36. They had three Children that have been documented: Richard III, George, and John. Elizabeth and Richard lived in Essex, England. She died 4 April 1626.

Richard Steele, son of Richard, was baptized at St Mary the Virgin, Fairstead, Essex, England 21 Apr 1549.[1][2][3]

He was buried at Fairstead, 12 Jan 1631, aged 82.[2]

Richard married Elizabeth ______ who was buried at Fairstead 4 Apr 1626.[2]

1. George Steele. George Steele called John Steele his brother in his will.[2]. Married Margery Sorrell. Immigrant to America.
2. Ric[hard] Steele bpt Fairstead 4 Feb 1588, s/o Ric.[4]. Married Elizabeth Brady. Did not emigrate.
3. John Steele bpt Fairstead 12 Dec 1591. John Steele, son of Richard, married Rachel Talcott, at Fairstead 10 Oct 1622.[2][5]. Married 1) Rachel Talcott 2) Mercy Rusco. Immigrant to America.
