Richard Tapp, an aged citizen of Hensley Township, died Tuesday night. He was one of the pioneer citizens of Johnson County and highly respected in the community. The immediate cause of his death was a severe attack of flux. The funeral occurred yesterday at ten o’clock, interment at Stott’s Creek cemetery. Mrs. Parkhurst whose death is mentioned elsewhere was a daughter of Mr. Tapp.
