Richard Warren, b Greenwich 14 Apr 1649 with brother John, was pupil at Mr. Dugard's private school, parish at St. Stephens, Coleman St., London; and afterwards at Merchant Taylors School. Became doctor of Divinity, Vicar of Warnborough in Hampshire. [7] At Warnborough, instituted in 1681.[8] Dr Warren died at Warnborough in 1694[9]

“He in turn had two sons:

  1. The first, Richard who inherited Marden in Tewin in Hertfordshire from his grandfather, went to Christchurch Oxford and the Middle Temple and died in about 1768 [10]
  2. The second, Vincent who also went to Christchurch and became a clergyman, vicar of Plymstock in Devon where he died in 1701[11] [12]

Additional children:

  1. Thomas, died young,
  2. Ann d 1702 aged 15[13] and
  3. Catherine.

(NB there were no living descendants of Catherine Vincent, the wife of Richard Warren, vicar of Warnborough still living in 1836. The evidence for this was submitted to the committee of Privileges of the House of Lords [14]
