A lifelong resident of Morgan City, she was to her parents, William and Sylvia Jarrett. She passed away in Lafayette. Ms. Rilma was a faithful parishioner and a bookkeeper for Holy Cross Catholic Church, Morgan City, for six years. She was a volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary at Teche Regional Medical Center and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court of Massabielle 1134, VFW auxiliary, Holy Cross Altar Society and American Legion auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Fernand P. Daigle Jr. of Morgan City; three sons, William "Billy" Daigle of Virginia Beach, Va., Lanny Daigle of Baton Rouge and Jerry Daigle of Abbeville; a sister, Aline Mayon of Gibson; and grandchildren, Rachel Holmes of Virginia Beach, Sylvia Frashier of Baton Rouge, Angie Welch of Liberty, Miss., and Amie Daigle and Lance Cpl. Jarrett Daigle, both of Lafayette; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
