About Ringardis of Madrie
Ringardis (but misnamed as Ingeltrudis in a charter dated 12 March 836..
In 822, Pepin I of Aquitaine married Ingeltrude,[1] daughter of Theodobert, count of Madrie, with whom he had two sons:
- Pepin (823-after 864), and married to Adelle de THURINGE
- Charles (825-830 - 4 June 863), who became archbishop of Mainz.
And perhaps two daughters (although there is conflicting evidence and experts disagree)
- Hildegarde d'AQUITAINE ca 822-860 married in 839 to Gérard Ier Thierry d'AUVERGNE ca 800-841
- [unknown] d'AQUITAINE ca 823-841/ married about 839 to Rathier de LIMOGES †841

- Also called Engelberga, Rigarde, Hringard, or Ringart.
- her name is disputed & also seen as "unknown RINGART" - Unknown married Pippin I CAROLING King of Aquitane, son of Ludwig (Louis I "Le Pieux") CAROLING King of the Frank, Holy Roman Emperor and Princess Ermengarde DE HESBAYE. (Pippin I CAROLING King of Aquitane was born in 803 and died in 838.)
