RYAN, Rita Margaret (Stanton) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother Rita Margaret Stanton on September 1, 2010 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Dominic J. Ryan. Mom leaves us with a wonderful legacy of her warmth, caring and nurturing, her beautiful personality and her great sense of humour. Survived by her children Bernie MacNeil (late Claude), Lois Clermont (Ray), Gerald (Late Rollande), Marilyn Colton (Owen), Anne Lamont (Paul), R.C.M.P. Sgt Paul Ryan (Dorothy), Ron Ryan (Jenny), Cathy Landry (Dan), Jim Ryan, Allan Ryan (Bonnie), pre-deceased by an infant daughter Ruth Carmel. Survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Clare Wood (late Alex) and sister-in-law Kaye Stanton (late Wilfred). Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Joseph Stanton, her sisters Carmel Ryan, Sister Mary Stanton G.S.I.C., her brothers Patrick, Gervais, Wilfred, Frank and Alphonse. A very special thanks to Dr. Pietrobon and the staff at Valley Stream Manor for their wonderful care. At mom's request there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Martin de Porres Church, Bells Corners on Saturday September 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery Corkery, ON.
