Rivka Herzog

Rivka was not the mother of Simon Herzog. The date of Sali Catti Kati Cheyla Fried's birth is recorded in the 1868 Hungarian Census for the area of Verbò, Nagyszombat, Nyitra, now Vrbové, Nitra, Slovakia. Her year of birth was 1811, and she was the mother of Simon Herzog, as my cousin Dr. Péter A. Csángó discovered for me. Sali Fried is recorded as Simon Herzog's mother in the Matrimonial records of Simon Herzog's marriage to Katalin Fried.
