Robbie Jones Henry, the last of nine (9) children born to the late Reverend Thomas and Mary Jones of Gregg County, Texas, transitioned to her new life Wednesday, April 9, 2003.

At an early age she accepted Christ and united with the Bethel Baptist Church, later joining the Red Oak Baptist Church where she served faithfully and was a stabilizing force in the ministries of the Church over seventy (70) years until her health failed. She was educated in the public schools of Gregg County, Texas.

In 1925 she united in Holy Matrimony to her childhood sweetheart, the late Clarence Henry. To this union four (4) children were born and survive her. They are: Clifford (Mary), Elk Grove, CA; Walter (Alma Jean), Longview; Vallye, Longview and Mae, Sacramento, CA. She leaves to cherish her memory eight (8) grand-children; fourteen (14) great-grand children, three (3) great-great-grand-children; a niece, several nephews, a host of adopted children and many, many friends
