1704-1719 Essex Co Virginia Will Deeds pages 261-63. 20 Jan 1718/9. Richard Day and Mary his wife of South Farnham Parish, Essex County, To William Daingerfield of the sam. For 20L sterling. Robert Bunbury late of this county, father of Mary, was siezed of 140 acres according to a deed from Stanley Gower 3 Sept. 1683 and by his last will devised the same to his son John Bunbery and his daughter Mary. John is since dead and half his part is discended to Mary, she being coheir with another sister of John ••• in Southfarnham Parish on the south side of Hoskins's Creek. TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom these prsents shall come I STANLEY GOWER of Farnham Parish in the County of Rappa: in Virginia, Planter, sendeth Greeting: Now know yee that I the sd STANLEY GOWER for a valuable consideration already received by ROBERT BUNBERY of the said County, Cordwindr:, with the free voluntary id consent of MARGARET GOWER my now lawful!
