Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Robert Crichton of Kinnoull and Lady Marion Stuart.[1]

He married Marion Maxwell circa 1491.[1]

He died between 13 July 1513 and 6 November 1513, probably killed Flodden on 9 September 1513.[1]

He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [S., 1488] circa February 1494/95.[1]
