From History of Maries Co, MO by King: Robert E. Crismon was married three times. His first wife was Josie, daughter of William Shelton, by whom he was the father of one son, Robert, now in Texas. His second marriage was to Josie, daughter of James Meltabarger, was childless. His third was to Clorah, daughter of M. S. Graham. The three living children of the last marriage are: James Gordon Crismon of Vista, California; *Gertie who lives in Texas; and

• *Edna Augusta Crismon, of Granite City whose married name is not known to relatives here. In addition, two children, Monroe and Minnie, are dead. The former left no children. Minnie married a Prewett and left children who live in Pulaski County".
  • Note: Edna Augusta Crismon was born Feb 4, 1904, and died April 2, 1990 in Illinois. She married Alvin Edward Dorris.
• Note: Francis Gertrude Crismon, age 17, daughter of Robert E. Crismon married Lester Martin in Maries Co, MO on 4 July 1912. History of Maries Co states she also married a Strickland.
