When Doctor Robert Charles Dallas was born in 1710, in Scotland, United Kingdom, his father, James Dollas, was 49 and his mother, Barbara Cockburn, was 27. He married Mary Frances Main on 17 August 1736, in Saint Andrew, Jamaica. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He immigrated to Scotland in 1764 and lived in Dallas Castle, Saint Andrew, Jamaica in 1754. He died on 23 April 1769, in Westminster, London, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 59, and was buried in St John, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.
