EDINBURG – Robert William Dyke, 60, Edinburg resident, died Thursday at the Johnson county hospital in Franklin.

Born in Edinburg Jan. 25, 1907, he was the son of William and Olive Waltz Dyke. He married the former Kathryn Bay Oct. 22, 1928. He was a member of the Edinburgh Christian Church and had formerly worked at the L. B. Mosiman corporation in Indianapolis.

Surviving with his wife at 611 North Grant street are a son, John R. Dyke of Fairland route 1; three brothers, Harry Dyke of Edinburg, Harold Dyke of Southport and Dale Dyke of Seymour; two sisters, Mrs. Cecile Good of Columbus and Mrs. Ethel Osborn of Temple City, Calif., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Mutz funeral home in Edinburg by the Rev. Frank Rustemeyer. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Persons may call after 7 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.
