Robert E. Lee Usher

I have been in contact with the daughter of Robert E. Lee Usher, Georgia Collette (georgiac2@juno.com). She said her dad married twice, 1st to Ellen Sherrill who died after they were married 17 years and had 7 children with only 3 of their children surviving to adulthood. Frederick is the only one whose name I know).

Robert's 2nd marriage was to Delphia Anna Marler, and Georgia is the only survivor of Lee & Delphia who had 11 children. Robert E. Lee & Delphia (Marler) Usher were married April 1, 1900 in Iron Co., MO. Georgia said her father was 21 years older than her mother. In 2006 Georgia said she was the only survivor of all 14 of Lee's children: she was 89 years old at that time.

The family resided in St. Francois Township, St. Francois Co., MO for the 1910 Census. Their residence in 1930 was Detroit, Wayne Co., MI.
