About Robert Johann Dietrich Luther

Robert Johann Dietrich Luther (5. oktoober 1816 Tallinn – 4. märts 1888 Tallinn) oli Eesti vaimulik.

Õppis aastani 1823 Hageni erakoolis, aastatel 1824–1834 Tallinna Gümnaasiumis. Tartu Ülikooli usuteaduskonnas õppis ta aastatel 1835–1841 (lisaks õppis ta aastatel 1835–1837 arstiteadust). Oli seejärel mitmeid aastaid koduõpetaja, lõpuks Ambla pastori Alexander Leopold Paulseni juures. Ambla Maarja koguduses oli ta ka prooviaastal. Ordineeriti 9. märtsil 1847 ordineeriti ta õpetajaks.

Oli aastatel 1847–1884 Jüri koguduse õpetaja. Jäi 20. aprillil 1884 emerituuri.

Andis koostöös Carl Russwurmiga Lutheri perekonna ajaloo Eestis ja Venemaal.
