≤p>From notes compiled by William Campbell,Edinburgh,Scotland; Robert Ker purchased the feu -rightt of Meikle Auchengree and Sidehouse(which lies adjacent) from the Laird of Kersland in 1700.The property extended to about 237 acres until it was reduced by provision for younger sons at the end of the 18th century.Robert Ker was an Adopted Child of Robert Ker and Elizabeth Stewart.≤/p>
