Address ; (home) 235 South St., Morristown, N. J.(business) 1 Wall St., New York, N. Y.

In the fall of 1903 I came to New York, where I entered the employ of Fisk and Robinson, bankers. A few months later I left them to enter the office of Plalsted and Hodges, stock brokers, where I remained until 1909. In June, 1909, I became cashier for Frenaye, Wright and Slade, stock brokers, and two years later continued in the same position for Frenaye and Herreshoff. In September, 1912, I became a member of the New York Stock Exchange, and started in business under my own name. I have no connection with any firm, but have my office with A. G. Ed-
wards and Sons, 1 Wall Street, New York.

On November 18, 1909, I married Mrs. Harvey Ladew Williams (Hannah Haydock Willis), a widow Avith two children, Harvey Ladew Williams and Rebecca Williams.

Business ; Lawyer.

Address ; (home) 207 Dodge St., Beverly, Mass.(business) 85 Devonshire St., Boston, Mass.

The school years 1903 to 1905 I spent in the Harvard Law School, graduating in June, 1905. I was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in August of that year. Practice was not immediately begun, and several of the months preceding August, 1906, were spent in the Southwest. In the early fall of 1906 I became associated with George W. Anderson, in the practice of law at 43 Tremont Street, Boston, later moving to 85 Devonshire Street, with the same associations. I have continued the general practice of law to this date at the same address, with some local practice at Beverly.

In 1908 I was appointed by Chairman Hitchcock of the Republican National Convention to conduct the campaign in behalf of that party in the colleges, and as president of the National Republican College League was at Chicago headquarters August to December, inclusive. I was elected city solicitor of Beverly, Mass., in January, 1909, and continued in that office until January, 1913. In April, 1912, I was elected alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention from the Sixth Massachusetts District, and in that capacity and also as regular delegate, owing to a vacancy in that office, was present at that memorable convention in Chicago.

For about a year I have been a member of the National Committee on Prison Labor, and am still president of the National Republican College League, also a member of the executive committee of the National Republican League, an organization distinct from the former.

Member : Essex Bar Association.
