About Robert Dick McIsaac

Robert was born in 1828, the son of Richard McIsaac and Jean Scott. He bought land in the Upper Wairau and worked as a shepherd. Married in 1859, to Ellen Brydon at her father's home in Waihopi; 10 children were to be raised in the MciIsaac home. Robert died in 1880 age 51 and is buried at Upper Wairau Cemetery.
