About Robert Michael Daniel (born Ignatius Michael Prinsloo) (Bob)
- According to the Prinsloo's verbal family legend - this child's original names were officially changed, when he was apparently about 18 years old and when he was adopted by the new stepfather, with the surname Daniel.
- His original family Prinsloo names need to be sourced - hopefully on the baptism certificate. It is most probably: Ignatius Michael Prinsloo - this needs to be verified.
- https://www.eps.org.za/the-story-of-eps.html: Mr. R. Daniel assumed duty as principal in July 1974 and resigned at the end of 1982. East Gate Primary School was first known as Kensington South School. The following year the Transvaal Education Department gave permission to establish an Aid Class at the school, which opened in May. At the same time two special classes at Sir Edmund Hillary were transferred to Kensington South School. Mr. Daniel had a particular interest in children with learning difficulties and that focus has continued to the present. He was the first chairman of the Special Education Association founded in 1976.
