About Robert Moore
He enlisted about the 1st of September, 1777, and served 3 months as private in Capt. Thomas Bunk's Co, Colonel Piper's Pa. Regiment. He enlisted in April 1780 and served as private and Indian spy with the Pa. Troops under Capt. Joseph Ogle and Cols, Hedge, Brodhead, and Williamson and was in a skirmist with the Indians at Coshocton.After the close of the Revolutionary War, he returned to Bedford Co., Pa. and he moved to Ohio several yrs. later.
