Robert 'Robin' Nash

Birth: 1768 Pittsylvania County Virginia, USA Death: 1842 Union County Tennessee, USA

"Robin Nash came from Virginia to Big Valley Tennessee, then a part of Claiborne County. In 1812, it became Union County, Tennessee."

Robin's grandson, William Houston Nash said, "Robin married a Mallicote. He was a large man, 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighed more than 200 pounds. He had black hair, a beard and blue eyes. He had a brother, John, who lived in Alabama and a brother, William, living in Tennessee."

Robert Nash married the widow, MRS. SUSANNA MALLICOAT MULLENS on 23 March 1795 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Susanna Mallicoat was born the first of January 1, 1767 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia and died 1839 in Claiborne County. She was previously married on February 1, 1787 in Pittsylvania County to Dennis Mullins. She was the daughter of John Mallicoat and Ellender Dedman.

Arthur, age 53 VA, a farmer with $2000 in real estate value; wife Eve, born 1800 TN; children Mahala, Washington, Caroline, Jackson, Marvel, Easter, Calaway and Wm. J. Nash, age 7.

[2] *Thomas Nash born April 27, 1798 in Virginia; married Mary Graves; had daughter: Susanna Nash, wife of Rev. John Johnson

[3] *Noah Nash born 1805 in Virginia; married 1/ Elizabeth Lowrey about 1830 in Campbell Co, TN; Noah married 2/ 1836 in Jackson Co., Missouri to Mrs. Elizabeth Burnett Johnson, widow of Dabney Johnson. Noah and Elizabeth died in Iowa.

[5] Elizabeth Nash born October 11, 1811 in TN.; died 9 Jan 1881 in Union Co., TN. She married first to Jacob SHARP on 13 Mar 1840 in Claiborne Co, TN; Jacob SHARP, born 1807 in TN.; died before 1850. She married second Isaac SHARP, 1850 in Campbell Co., TN.; Isaac, born 18 Feb 1805 in TN., died 14 Dec 1875.
