RG8/60 Register of Births and Baptisms in the British Lying-In Hospital in Endell Street, St Giles in the Fields, Holborn Mary RAWLINS, 20, wife of Joseph, Soldier, St.Giles in the Fields. Delivered 28 February 1804, Boy, Robert. Child baptised 1 March 1804.
There is an error in the Sue Mackay transcript of Robert RAWLINS' birth and baptism. She wrote that he was baptized on 10 March 1804, but correctly it is 1 March 1804. There are 2 different original ledgers with the same information. The ledger she was looking at was written in a very flowery hand, and the curly beginning of the M in March looks like it could be a zero, so 1 March looks like 10 March. The clue is in the other March entries, which look like 180 March and 90 March, etc. then...
Robert Rawlins 15, was a member of Sephton's party of 344 people on the Aurora. James was in the care of William Sargeant.
Party originated from London.
