This Robert Roice of Boston, Massachusetts, who migrated in 1632 and was married to Elizabeth ---, has been confused with Robert Royce of Connecticut. Elizabeth outlived Robert and married Michael Tearn of Boston. Savage originally confused the two Roberts and the confusion has endured.

Children of Robert and Elizabeth:

1. Joshua, born 1637 Boston, married 1662 Charlestown Batsheba Pratt
2. Nathaniel, born 1639 Boston, no further record
3. Patience, born 1 April 1642 Boston and buried 8 April 1642 Boston
