SEAMAN Robert : Death at Halifax. The death occurred at the Victoria General Hospital at Halifax on July 27th of Mr. Robert Seaman of Mansfield. The remains were brought to Amherst, and the funeral took place from the residence of the daughter, Mrs. Samuel England, Park Street. The deceased leaves four daughters to mourn his death, Mrs. William Dobson of Mansfield, Mrs. R.T. Lowther Maccan, Mrs. John McEachern and Mrs. Samuel England of Amherst.

The Seaman family bible that appears to have belonged to Robert Keillor Seaman and Elizabeth Ann Hurd appears to have come down through the family of Lloyd Dobson and now rests with Margaret (Dobson) and Wendall Reid.
