Trask, makes the error of identifying widow Abigail Clapp as the wife of Nicholas Clapp in an annotation, though her husband is not named and does not participate in any of these documents. Robert Sharp's name is among the original planters of Rehoboth, Massachusetts Bay Colony. (attached). He is first on the list of lots drawn at Rehoboth in 1646. He is again identified at another town meeting of the proprietors in 1645. (attached). In 1649 he served as a surveyor of highways for Rehoboth. (attached). He also served as a grand juryman with Thomas Cooper in 1650.
