Robert Francis Thomas

Robert Francis Thomas "Bob" was born Mar. 7, 1945, one of four boys born to Melvin Fern Thomas and Margaret "Peg Ann" Skillington. He was born in Newton Hamilton, PA. Bob married Jean Louise Nelson on Aug. 17, 1968 in Richvale, PA. Jeanne was working for American Airlines at the time. Bob was a Vietnam Veteran from May 1966-June 1967. He was in the Navy Hospital Corps as a Psychiatric Technician and was discharged in January of 1968. He attended Minot State College, Minot, ND in Criminal Justice and worked on the Minot Police Department for 3 years. Bob was the former Renville County Sheriff in Mohall, ND. Bob worked as the Chief Deputy for Walsh County in Grafton, ND from 1991- 2008. Jeanne and Bob are avid golfers. Five children were born to Jeanne and Bob.
