He is the father of Mary (Twelves) Clark, Martha Twelves, Martha (Twelves) Field, Rachel Twelves, Robert Twells, Peter Twelves, Sarah Twelves, John Twelves, Hannah Twelves and Abigail (Twelves) Seaver. He died on 2 Mar 1691 in Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts.

Note: Savage has made the incorrect assumption that Richard Twells, born in Boston on 16 May 1660, was the son of Robert and Martha Twelves of Braintree, even though Richard was born in Boston and Robert's children were born in Braintree. Furthermore, Richard's birth record lists his father as Richard, not Robert. Finally, Savage seems a bit perplexed that Robert Twelves had a daughter, Martha, born 1 month after Richard. But Savage still left Richard in Robert's family. Please don't make the same mistake, as someone had done on Wikitree. Most of Richard's correct siblings have their name spelled Tewell, which may not be correct either. [1]
