About Robert Wolders
Robert Jacobus Godefridus Wolders was born in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). He was studying theater at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
He participated in numerous television shows in the 1960s and 1970s. His first role was in 1965 in NBC's Flipper. He has also appeared in Very Special Agents, Bewitched, the Mary Tyler Moore Show, the John Forsythe Show and many more. He joins the second and final season of Laredo action comedy in 1966.
Side movies, Wolders played in the Tobruk war drama, Commando for Hell (1967) alongside Rock Hudson and George Peppard.
Because of his beauty and his accent, he has been cataloged several times as a "Latin Lover". In 1975, he played in The Legendary Curse of the Diamond Hope. He ended his acting career after co-starring Merle Oberon. They were married until his death in 1979. He was Audrey Hepburn's partner.
He died on July 12, 2018 at the age of 81.
