About Robert Emory Wynn, Jnr.
Served with Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. He was portrayed by Nicholas Aaron in the HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers."
Pvt. Wynn served with the company during D-Day, where he was wounded in the rear end from heavy German fire, he would later leave the hospital without proper authority, and rejoin the company prior to their jump into Holland as part of the ill-fated Operation: Market-Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge, when the 506th held the crossroads town of Bastogne, he was also with the company when they Liberated the town of Haganeau, and captured Hitler's fortified Eagle's Nest, in fact, he was quoted as saying "That's the only time I remember half the company falling out in their boxers."
Although he didn't live to see himself immortalized in film (having died shortly before the finished film was shown in public for the first time,) he did live long enough to contribute to both the book, and movie "Band of Brothers."
