When my grand father Augusto was elected Diputado Nacional (congressional representative) by the Socialist Party for the first time (1916) his brother Roberto Julio sent him a letter condemining the event, accussing him of being a shame for the family and pleading not to talk to him for the rest of his life. They probably did not see each other ever since.
