ROLAND F. LARSON Roland F. Larson 67, resident of Cutten, died suddenly Friday afternoon at his home. He was born October 1, 1891 in Eureka and had resided in other sections of Humboldt county. Larson spent a period of seven years in the Sonora and Waterford areas returning in 1955 lo make his home in Cutten. He was a graduate of Oakland Polytechnic College and for over 40 years was employed in the split products try He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Eureka. For the last four years, Larson with his brother had operated the Larson Brothers shingle mill at Cutten. Survivors include his son Ro- land Larson Jr of San Joes[sic] brothers Lloyd Larson of Eureka, Ben Larson of Fortuna, Sophus Larson of Gonzales and Arthur Larson of Redwood City, sisters Mrs Alice Johnson of Garberville, Mrs Ellen Herman of Briceland, Mrs Eva Etter of Honeydew and Mrs Elsa Burnside of Fortuna; grandchildren Melanie April and Mark Larson of San Jose and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
