Ronald Andrew Smith, 68, of Athens passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Smith was born August 27, 1943, in Limestone County to Thomas Ronald Smith and Rose May Church Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Athens City Cemetery with George Stewart officiating.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Saundra Smith of Athens; son, Gil Smith of Athens; brother, Ray Smith of Athens; niece, Adriane Smith Baucom of Pelham; two aunts and several cousins.
