CASINO, Friday.—The death oc
curred in Casino Memorial Hos
pital this morning, after a brief
illness, of Ronald Francis Knott,
son of Mr and Mrs Wesley J
Knott; of Horseshoe Lagoon. De
ceased, who was born at Lismore
25 years ago, married Miss Shirley
Chilcott at Murwillumbah four
years ago. He was on the eve of
entering camp when he became ill.
He is survived by a widow and
three children, one brother, Wil
liam (Murwillumbah) and two sis
ters, Mrs E Rose (Edenville) and
Miss Dawn Knott, Horseshoe
Lagoon. The funeral will leave for
Casino cemetery following a ser
vice at 1.30 p m tomorrow at St
Paul's Presbyterian Church,
Casino.
