Ron grew up in Farmington, Maine where, starting at a young age he was very active in school and town activities. He was very proud of becoming an Eagle Scout. Ron retired from banking as president of a small community bank in Augusta.

Ron was a lifelong skier who greatly enjoyed skiing at Sugarloaf Mt. with Sally, their boys and their granddaughters. He took up his second love, golf, after moving to Florida. Ron took an active role in the Quail Run Golf Course in Naples, Florida where he and Sally were members. He always enjoyed the beauty of his surroundings.
Ron will be greatly missed by both family and friends. The family will hold a private memorial service for Ron this summer. Donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
