About Rosario Imperial
Rosario Imperial was the younger of two children of José Ramos and Donata Bonifacio. She named after “rosa” (meaning, “rose” due to her Roman Catholic faith). She was formerly nicknamed as “Rosa” due to etymology of her name. After growing up with her parents, her nickname became “Chayong”. She and her husband moved to Melbourne, where they were naturalized Australian citizens on January 26, 1993. When she died, her body was brought back to the Philippines.
