Song Writer. A former nurse. She co-wrote many songs with her brother, the Soul singer Smokey Robinson, including "Quiet Storm," "Daylight & Darkness" and "Virgin Man". She wrote songs like Breakdown for De La Soul...Silent Partner in a Three Way Love Affair for Smokey---You Can Come Right Back To Me--for David Ruffin and The Fool for Chuck Jackson. She was also the sister to Geraldine Burston . She was 82 years old. She died from stomach cancer.
