Grandma Rose was a special lady, full of spunk, cheer and wisdom. She came to live with us in our Cottonwood home on Eleanor Lane soon after my Grandpa passed away. She loved to play her piano and sing hymns.
During her life she raised 13 children, taught Sunday school, canned and cooked all kinds of delicious foods and helped to rear some of her grandchildren. She was a very generous woman, always wanting to cook for people, even strangers, and offering words of wisdom and encouragement to those who were down.
