1. Sir Robert Stockport,[2] (son of Robert Stockport and Matilda Banastre) who was living in 23 Henry III [1238-39]; with whom she had children:
   1. Sir Robert Stockport;[1] [2]
   2. Margaret,[2] who was the wife of William Vernon, during the time that William Ouresby was Justiciar of Cheshire;[1]
2. Alexander de Bamvile,[1] son of Sir Thomas de Bamville of Storeton, co Chester;[2] with whom she had children, including:
   1. Thomas, oldest son who married Havise, daughter of Robert de Winington;[3]

Sir Robert de Stokeport, knight, son of Robert and Matilda, Inq. p.m. 33 Hen III, Sir Robert de Stokeport, Knight, held, in service, Merpel and Wibberslegh ; also Stokeport of Hugh Despencer. Sir Robert died in either 1239 or 1249, leaqving a widow named Roesia who remarried Alexander de Bamville (of the Storeton family), and released to her grandson, Richard de Stokeport, her claim in the manors of Echells, Stockport, Bredbury, Romilegh, Wernith, and Hatterslegh, &c. and had issue of Margaret, wife of William de Vernon and Robert, heir and son.

In the time of Guncelyn de Badlesmere, 1274-1280, a Release by Alexander de Bamville, and Roesia his wife, of all their right, by reason of dower, after the death of Robert de Stokeport, formerly husband of the said Roesia, in the manors of Echeles, Stokeport, Bredburie, Romelegh, and Hatreslegh, was enrolled on the Cheshire Domesday Roll. An Ancient Deed Recorded by the Herald During the 1580 Visitation of Cheshire[3]

"Ego Alexander de Bamuile & Roisa vxor mea. dedimus Thomae filio n'ro primogenito et Hauisa filiae Rob'ti de Winington : Terram meam in villa de p'va Storton, quas Joha'na quae fuit vxor Ric'i Kingesley mihi Alexandro dedit."

Translated: I, Alexander de Bamville and Rose my wife, gave Thomas our eldest son and Hauisa daughter of Robert de Winington: my land in the town of p'va Storton which Joan who was the wife of Richard Kingesley gave me, Alexander.
