Mrs. Rosie Shelton Olive, 78, widow of Eddie R. Olive, died at her home in Chatham Heights early Saturday morning following a heart attack.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. James W. Smith, pastor of the Fredericksburg Methodist Church, will officiate.
Mrs. Olive is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nora Fines and Mrs. Verna Kearns, both of Stafford County, and Mrs. Lou Self, of Fredericksburg; three sons, Elwood Olive, of Dahlgren, Manly Olive of Washington, and Herman Olive, of Fredericksburg; one sister, Miss Roberta Shelton of Stafford County; three brothers, Walker Shelton, of Fredericksburg, Luty Shelton, of Chatham Heights, and Calvin Shelton, of Stafford County; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
