Roy Franklin Vadney... Original Spelling (Vadenais) of French Canadian extraction. His Mother was full blooded Indian. (Micmac). Raised 13 children; 7 Girls, 6 Boys.

Served in World war II... Army & Navy; was discharged from Navy in Brest France, due to death of infant son Alfred. Returned to states in Civilian status. Worked for Boston Consolidated Gas Co. after that. Lived to the age of 83.Wife Mary Alice (LaFort) Vadney,

joined him in death a few years later...also attaining the age of 83.

children: Roy, Grace, (Alfred and Catherine died in infancy), Mildred, Dorothy, Chet, Robert, Myra, Gladys, Thelma, Carlton, Arnold and Marie
