About Ruben Michael Mannheimer
Ruben Michael Mannheimer was a Cohen. He was a chazzan (cantor) at Schopfloch.
GEDCOM Note
Information about Ruben, his wife and children came from documentation provided by Fran Loeb Luebke. Fran obtained that documentation from Hans Rainer-Hofmann, mayor of Schopfloch, in 1991. Rainer-Hofmann did not tell Fran the source of the document.
According to Fran’s documentation, Ruben Kohn’s last name was spelled with just one “n.” I have elected to leave it with two since spelling varied frequently, even when listing the same person. In addition, I have later generations listed with two “n”s. This is mainly for convenience. Any purists electing to use this information would probably want to go back to the one “n” spelling. 5/31/99
