I have done a family tree for my husband’s family. My husband’s mother, Zisla Weizman nee Kirschner was born in Wysocko Nizne, Poland (now Ukraine) in 1921. Her maternal grandmother was Ruchla Fischer nee Tiechman. Ruchla’s sister was Sarah Weininger nee Tiechman. Sarah Weininger is in your family tree (I got a smart match through myheritage). I believe Sarah had six children, one was Chenie. My mother in law told me that her mother and Chenie were close in age and were friends. She also told me that Sarah and her family moved from Wysocko Nizne to Vienna - possibly sometime during WWI. She thinks that one of Sarah’s sons owned a store in Zakopane Poland (she remembers meeting him). I believe Chenie was the mother of Ruchama Gornitzky. My mother in law had very few family members who survived the war (only those who fled before the war) and the records for Galicia are very limited. As a result, we have very little information on her family (other than what she was able to remember ). The information I have was from discussions with Zisla and there are records for the birth of Sarah’s children. If you have any questions or any additional insights please contact me.
